The

Fifth

Corner

For a brief time, we enter another consciousness. As we stay inside another’s way of seeing the world, that experience leaves its trace. Each story invites us into a different interior.

When we step back out, the stories end. But something remains.

That lingering space, the one we carry with us after the door closes — is the fifth corner.

Published by The Fifth Corner Literary Society, a non-profit dedicated to literature, the arts, and independent publishing, The Fifth Corner is a literary journal and press devoted to dark literary fiction, commissioned artwork, and carefully curated works. Through CODA, our annual anthology, we gather the year’s most distinguished poetry into a permanent literary record.
